Course website widgets

Coursebricks gives training providers course website widgets that show live course dates, prices and availability on their own website. Your website stays up to date on its own: new dates, price changes and full courses appear without retyping, and visitors book online.

What are course website widgets?

Course website widgets are blocks you embed on your own website to show courses, dates, prices and availability straight from your training management system. Coursebricks offers six course website widgets: upcoming courses, a course catalog, a course detail page, a trainer catalog, a trainer profile and filters. Visitors browse on your website and book through Coursebricks.

How are course website widgets different from updating course pages by hand?

Course website widgets read your schedule from Coursebricks, so dates, prices and availability on your website always match the schedule. Course pages updated by hand go out of date whenever a course is added, moved or sold out. Coursebricks widgets show only published courses, display a fully booked message when a course is full, and link each course to the Coursebricks booking page.

Can I show live course dates and prices on my existing website?

Yes. Add the Coursebricks upcoming courses widget to any page of your existing website with one script tag and an HTML template. The widget lists your published courses with dates, prices, location and availability. Full courses show a fully booked message and a waitlist link.

Can visitors filter courses by category, location or month?

Yes. The Coursebricks filters widget works with the course catalog or upcoming courses widget and filters by keyword, online or in person, category, accreditation, city and month. The chosen filters are kept in the page URL, so a filtered list of courses can be shared and bookmarked.

Will Coursebricks website widgets match my website's design?

Yes. Each Coursebricks website widget fills your own HTML template, so the markup and CSS of every course listing are yours. Your template can show dates, durations, prices, location, trainers, and booking and waitlist links.

Can each course have its own page on my website?

Yes. The Coursebricks course detail widget shows a course's content, CPD hours or points, accreditation, featured trainers, upcoming dates, and links to register interest or request private training. You can also give any course its own page URL, and trainer widgets show the trainers you choose to feature.

Do I need a website to use Coursebricks?

No. Every Coursebricks workspace includes a branded training website with a course catalog, course pages, online booking, and About Us, In-House Training, New Course Request and Contact Us pages. You edit the homepage, pages, header and footer from settings, and can run the training website on your own domain.

Do I need an API key to use Coursebricks website widgets?

No. Coursebricks website widgets load with one script tag and your workspace URL, with no API key. Coursebricks also has a public REST endpoint that returns upcoming courses without an API key.

How much do Coursebricks course website widgets cost?

Coursebricks costs $139 per month, or $1,500 billed yearly ($125 per month), with every feature included.
