Training management system integrations

Coursebricks is a training management system for training providers, with integrations for Stripe, Xero and 3,000+ apps via Zapier. Bookings, payments and invoices move between your tools automatically, so nobody types the same data into several systems.

Take card payments for courses with Stripe.

Coursebricks connects to your own Stripe account, and card payments are recorded against the order automatically. Card data is handled by Stripe and never touches Coursebricks.

  • Several Stripe accounts, each for its own currencies
  • Stripe fees recorded as an expense automatically
  • Card payments sent on to Xero

Stop re-keying course invoices into Xero.

Coursebricks sends approved orders to Xero as invoices automatically, with contacts, card payments and expenses. Payments you record in Xero come back into Coursebricks every hour.

  • A separate Xero connection per currency, if you need one
  • Tax rates and ledger accounts mapped once
  • Sync history on every order and expense

Show live courses on your own website.

Coursebricks widgets add upcoming courses, your course catalog and trainer profiles to your own website. Visitors browse on your site and book through Coursebricks, and you never update dates or prices by hand.

  • Dates, prices and places always in sync
  • Works on any site that accepts HTML and JavaScript, including WordPress
  • Your own HTML template and CSS
  • Filters by city, month, category and online or in person

Connect Coursebricks to 3,000+ apps with Zapier.

Coursebricks starts a Zap in Zapier when a contact, registration or opportunity is created. Add each new registration to a spreadsheet or another CRM without writing code.

  • Triggers for new contacts, registrations and opportunities
  • Sample data to map fields while you build a Zap
  • No code needed

Build your own integration with the REST API.

The Coursebricks REST API gives your own systems your course catalog and schedule, and sends template emails to registrants. Requests use an API key you create in your workspace.

  • Interactive API docs in your workspace
  • Courses filtered by format, city, date range and category
  • API keys with an optional expiry date
  • A public feed of upcoming courses, no key needed

Send course data to any system with a workflow POST request.

Any Coursebricks workflow can send a POST request to a URL you choose when something happens. You set the headers and a JSON body built from merge fields.

  • Triggered by events such as a new registration
  • Conditions that decide when a request is sent
  • A history showing whether each run worked

How to connect Coursebricks to your other tools

Coursebricks connects to your payments, accounting software, website and other apps in four steps, so course data moves between them without re-entry.

  1. Step 1

    Connect Stripe for card payments

Connect your own Stripe account. Learners then pay by card when they book a course, and each payment is recorded against the order.

  2. Step 2

    Connect Xero

Connect Xero and map your tax rates and ledger accounts once. Approved orders then go across as invoices automatically.

  3. Step 3

    Add courses to your website

Add the Coursebricks widget script and your HTML template to your own website, or use the hosted Coursebricks website. Published courses appear with live dates and prices.

  4. Step 4

Connect Zapier, the API or a workflow

Create an API key in Settings for Zapier or your own code. For anything else, add a Send POST request step to a workflow.

How are integrations different from exporting CSV files and re-entering data?

Integrations move data between systems as it changes, so nobody has to re-key it. In Coursebricks, approved orders reach Xero as invoices automatically, payments recorded in Xero come back every hour, and a new registration can start a Zap or a workflow POST request. Exporting files means copying the same invoices and registrations into each tool and keeping every copy up to date by hand.

Does Coursebricks integrate with Stripe?

Yes. Coursebricks connects to your own Stripe account, and card payments are recorded against the order automatically. You can connect several Stripe accounts, each for its own currencies, and Stripe fees are recorded as an expense automatically. Card data is handled by Stripe and never touches Coursebricks.

Which accounting software does Coursebricks integrate with?

Xero. Coursebricks sends approved orders to Xero as invoices automatically, along with contacts, Stripe card payments and expenses. Payments recorded in Xero are imported into Coursebricks every hour, so your books and your bookings stay in sync.

Can I show Coursebricks courses on my existing website?

Yes. Add a small script and an HTML template to any website that accepts HTML and JavaScript, including WordPress, and Coursebricks widgets show your published courses, dates, prices and availability. Widgets cover upcoming courses, the course catalog, course pages, trainer profiles and filters. Visitors browse on your website and book through Coursebricks.

Does Coursebricks work with Zapier?

Yes. Coursebricks starts a Zap in Zapier when a contact, registration or opportunity is created, which connects Coursebricks to 3,000+ apps without code. For example, a Zap can add each new registration to a spreadsheet or another CRM.

Does Coursebricks have an API?

Yes. The Coursebricks REST API reads your course catalog and scheduled courses, lists your email templates and sends a template email to a registrant. Requests use an API key you create in your workspace, and interactive API docs are available there too.

Can Coursebricks send webhooks to another system?

Yes. Any Coursebricks workflow can include a Send POST request step that sends data to a URL you choose when an event happens, such as a new registration. You set the headers and a JSON body built from merge fields, condition steps decide when the request is sent, and the workflow history shows each run.
