Fair use policy

Effective starting:

At Coursebricks, we’re committed to helping you run and grow your training programs without unnecessary technical or pricing limitations. We understand that many organizations aim to scale their training delivery, and our platform includes features designed to support that growth. In line with this philosophy, we have intentionally removed most usage limits from our subscription plans so that you can operate without arbitrary caps.

At the same time, we must ensure that exceptionally heavy usage by a small number of clients does not negatively impact the experience of other clients on the same plan. To maintain system performance and fairness, this Fair Use Policy gives Coursebricks the right to require an account upgrade if its usage is determined to be unfairly excessive for the subscribed plan.

Unfairly excessive usage is defined as any account that uses more than five (5) times the average usage of all active accounts on the same plan in any of the following categories:

Usage Measures

  • Active Learners: the number of unique learners who have accessed training activities through the platform within the trailing twelve months.
  • Active Courses / Events: the number of published or scheduled training courses, sessions, classes, or events active within the trailing twelve months.
  • Automated Workflows / Emails: total number of automated workflows, triggers, and system-generated emails executed in the trailing twelve months.
  • File Storage Capacity: the total data volume of all files stored, uploaded, or generated through the platform in the trailing twelve months (e.g., videos, documents, certificates, attachments).
  • API Usage (if applicable): the volume of API calls made within the trailing twelve months.

Required Upgrade

If your usage exceeds these thresholds, Coursebricks may require you to upgrade to a higher plan that aligns with your usage level.

Before making any changes, Coursebricks will always notify you of the excessive usage, provide details of the measured activity, and outline the upgrade options. No upgrades or charges will be applied without prior notice.
